We’re a small, tight-knit team of around 50 people. We work together to provide great phone, internet, and streaming TV services to our customers in rural South Dakota communities.

Current Opening:  Customer Experience (CX) Representative

Customer Experience (CX) Representative

Venture Communications is looking for a CX Representative for the NE part of our serving area. This role will lead customer support efforts in this area by providing a mix of customer service, technical support, and problem-solving — all while creating an exceptional customer experience. You will help customers with service and billing questions, troubleshoot technical issues, process orders, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are fast and effective.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Loves helping customers and takes ownership of issues until they are resolved.
  • Communicates clearly, with empathy and patience, to build trust with every interaction.
  • Thinks critically to solve problems and suggest improvements.
  • Can adapt to changing technology, processes, and customer needs.
  • Is motivated to learn, grow, and contribute ideas that improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for voice, video, streaming, internet, billing, and service inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to minimize technician visits.
  • Create, manage, and track service tickets and orders.
  • Educate customers on products, services, and self-service options.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and stay current on company offerings and policies.
  • Participate in training and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  • Engage with the local community by participating in events, job fairs, meetings, and other outreach opportunities to support brand awareness and customer relationships.
