History of Cedar Valley

Located in the heart of South Dakota near Harrold SD, Cedar Valley Pheasant Haven offers the finest in Wild Pheasant hunting.  We are located in prime pheasant habitat and guests often forget to shoot when large coveys of pheasants take flight.  It's truly an experience you have to see for yourself to appreciate.

We have managed our acreage for wild game since 1982 and the benefits of our care is obvious.  Coveys of sharp tail grouse, prairie chickens, and Hungarian partridges are sometimes seen on our place as well.  These species are considered a nice "bonus" for our hunters.

Our hunting terrain is mixed so you will see many different types of cover during your hunt.  Planted farm ground, grassland, tree belts, and food plots exploding with action are some of the types of cover you'll encounter.

We tailor your hunt to your specific needs.  Young hunters will be able to cover a lot of ground and see tons of birds... while experienced hunters will be able to relax and let the birds come to them.  We hunt in small or large groups for the personal hunting experience our clients enjoy.  We do not mix groups unless requested.  Your comfort and safety are always our highest priority at Cedar Valley.
