Our Beliefs We see the following as core to our organization: ¨ Parity for Chemical Dependency professional will be the benchmark for the future. ¨ Addiction is a preventable and treatable disease. ¨ CD Counseling and Prevention are distinct professions and the SDCDA provides leaders for those fields. ¨ Prevention does work and has a positive impact on our communities. ¨ Recovery from addiction helps the individual, the family, and the community at large.
